I was a bit stumped on how to approach this army, because of its speed, three chariots and T5. The Goblin on the chariot could dish out 10 attacks at S5 all by himself, so he ate everything of mine in one turn. The lizard guy gave me the first turn, I made some cosmetic moves to shoot the bows at 18 inches, and cast a fireball. I killed one boar. The Orcs advanced a bit in their turn. In the second turn, CHARGE! The Ellyrians charged into the Orc chariot and I killed one of the dangerous ones xD. I didn't cause a wound, I cast Hammerhand, also nothing. He struck back and with 4 attacks killed three of mine.... So, the first part of my plan didn't work out. The Dragons, the chariot and the Mage (with Hammerhand) charged into the boars, the ones with counter charge got impact hits at S3 and I lost a Dragon Prince and a wound on the Mage. The boars evaporated. The Dragons held back and waited to receive the next boars. On the left the chariot positioned itself on the flank of the Orc general and menaced him. The Orcs in their turn ate both of my Ellyrian units. The boars charged into the Dragons, and really wanted to avenge their kin. Even though I struck first I didn't cause a wound, while taking 3 myself, I held on the break test and chose to give ground, so okay. In my turn, the Mage charged into combat with the boars, I was really counting on Hammerhand with a re-roll and I had to run the Mage away from two chariots. Hammerhand went off but caused no wound, the Dragons caused a wound, but fell back because of it. Luckily the Mage fled far enough. The flying chariot charged into the Orc general and showed its class, it caused three wounds + flank and won the combat, he failed the break test and thank you, that's how you say goodbye to Orc heroes. Last roll of the game: three goblins on the chariot shoot at the Mage, they hit, cause a wound, I fail my save and lose 200 points. All the battles at the tournament were enjoyable, the 750 format is definitely a plus, but my list belongs in the trash :)
