Eli 1.5.3. FAQ voimassa. Pari linjausta tähän turnaukseen:

FAQ v1.5.3 Amendment – Cannons

The latest official FAQ (v1.5.2) is in use. However, when determining whether a cannonball is stopped between the target point and strike point, only impassable terrain and high linear obstacles are considered.

Monstrous Creatures and Behemoths between the target point and strike point do not automatically stop the shot. Likewise, targets positioned on hills may be targeted normally. Hills do not automatically stop a cannonball before it reaches its strike point.

FAQ v1.5.3 Amendment – Regeneration

Regeneration saves are resolved against all wounds caused and are not limited by a model's remaining Wounds and excess caused wounds are not discarded. If necessary, Regeneration saves must be rolled one at a time until either all caused wounds have been resolved or the model has lost all of its Wounds and is removed as a casualty. Any remaining unresolved wounds are then ignored for combat result purposes. In challenges, continue resolving Regeneration saves as required when determining Overkill.

o eli kaikissa tapauksissa kohde on maksimissaan ns. osittain suojan takana
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thematic Special Rules: Unusual Terrain and its Effects In connection with the "Forest of the Elves" theme, the following special rules apply to terrain in the tournament:
o In the tournament, you can only score -1 for a hit when the target is behind cover
o In other words, in all cases, the target is, at most, what is known as "Target Behind Partial Cover"
o Special terrain type: Wooded hill
o This terrain type combines the standard rules for forest and hill into one
o The maps feature 2–3 forest terrain sections, consisting of standard forest or forested hills
o Some maps feature 1–2 ruins that are dangerous areas for infantry engaged in skirmish formation
o The maps also may include individual trees, statues, and fountains, which add visual interest but have no impact on gameplay
o Forests are dangerous areas for cavalry and flying units, However, this does not apply to light cavalry as an exception!

Temaattiset erityissäännöt: Haltiametsän magian lähteet (= special feature)
Turnauksen jokaisessa skenaariossa on pelipöydällä yksi magian lähde, jotka noudattavat TOW Matched Play Guiden sääntöjä special feature sääntöjä kaikin osin, paitsi seuraavilla muutoksilla:
o nopan numero 1 aiheuttaa vaaralliseen alueen testin kyseiselle yksikön kaikille miniatuureille
Huom.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thematic Special Rules: Elf’s Sources of Forest Magic (= special feature)
In each scenario of the tournament, there is one source of magic on the game table that follows the rules for special features in the TOW Matched Play Guide in every respect, except for the following changes:
o Control is possible for all infantry and cavalry units that have a banner
o The unit no longer needs to be a core unit
o Note: The unit strength must still be at least 10
o The source of magic is a point in the center of the battlefield that is marked in some way. It is not considered terrain in any way and does not affect unit movement or line of sight in any way
o The following change to the Unusual Features table:
o a roll of 1 on the die triggers a hazardous area test for all miniatures of that unit
Note:
o Remember that, according to the “special feature” rule, a magic source grants 200 victory points to the player controlling it at the end of the game.
o It should be emphasized that in two scenarios, the magic source is located in the same spot as a tactical location.

Kaikki skenariot kestävät 6 vuoroa ja jokaiselle kierrokselle on varattu 3 tuntia peliaikaa.
