2+ Team Blitz

List building parameters

• Lists can be up to 1000pts total.
• Grand Melee: No unit or character may exceed 25% of total points (250)
• Highlander: No unit entry may be used more than ONCE.
• Replace all instances of the word Skirmish in a unit entry with Open Order
• Low Fantasy: Players may spend up to 50pts total on character upgrades or magic items across their army.
• No permanent terrain effects - such as Wood Elf/Chrace or Herdstone allowed.
• Both armies must be ‘good’ or ‘evil’.
• If a ‘good’ and ‘evil’ army want to play together, a narrative justification needs to be submitted with the lists (maximum 250 words)

Scenarios

• Teams play two parallel games on split boards. These boards will have preset layouts and unique effects and will be released one at a time before the event.
• Winner of a roll-off selects a deployment zone for its army and deploys its first unit. The opposing team then selects a zone for its army and deploys its first unit (the high rolling team gets its preferred terrain, the low rolling team determines the matchups). Players then proceed to deploy as normal.
• Scoring is regular to the Matched Play Guide, with individual table layouts offering any further adjustments.
• At the conclusion of both games, both players add their total kill points scored and compare with the opposing team. Results are entered in the Win/Loss format.
• There are no Draws. In the result of equivalent kill points, the team with the cheapest General wins.

Statement on sportsmanship and resolving disputes.

Warhammer is an imperfect game that relies on the sportsmanship of both players. In support of collaborative competition and an efficient event for the benefit of ALL players:

• Players are expected to negotiate rules disputes at the table, freely discussing intent and interpretations with each other. If the TO is asked to formally resolve a dispute, both players present their case and the losing side is penalised 50 kill points in the game.
• Players are expected to manage the time equitably for their own game. If time is running short, players are encouraged to consider a fair result to both players based on the game state. Warnings will be given with fifteen minutes to go. Games are stopped and scored immediately at the end of the round timer.
