My list is below the narrative below 🙂 In the frozen shadow of the Great Bastion, the village of Jouto endured as a whisper against the Chaos winds. From that forgotten place came Ri Shin, born a slave, orphaned by war, and tempered by the endless storms of the frontier.  When raiders from the north razed his village, Shin fled into the wastes. For months he wandered through ruin and blizzard, surviving where no mortal should. In time, his will and strength drew others to him: hunters, deserters, and refugees from broken towns. Under his command they became a ragged but defiant host, striking from the shadows against Chaos warbands and driving them back from the Bastion’s northern reaches. By the time word of their deeds reached Nan-Gau, a dozen villages owed their survival to the nameless young commander who led from the front.  It was then that Miao Ying, the Storm Dragon, took notice. Sensing something unnatural in the storms surrounding his camp, she descended from the clouds to see for herself. When she stood before Shin, she knew at once what the winds had whispered: within the mortal burned the faint scent of dragonblood, a spark of Celestial heritage lost to time. Against all counsel, she took him under her wing and named him a disciple of the Shugengan, to temper the storm within.  Shin quickly learned to master Yin and Yang in battle. His natural talent saw him rise quickly through the ranks, his deeds catching the eye of Great General Ou Ki, who made the young warrior his protégé. Shin served him loyally through the Siege of Sanyou and the Battle of Kankoku Pass, earning renown for his courage and command. When Ou Ki fell, he passed to Shin his sacred club, The Monkey King’s Wisdom, and named him Fei Xin, meaning Faithful and Swift Arrow.  Now, years later, the storm rises once more. From her watchtower in Nan-Gau, Miao Ying feels the foul breath of the Ravening Hordes gathering beyond the wall. She summons her armies, and by her side rides Ri Shin, as her chosen general, no longer the young orphan of Jouto but a master of the storm. At his back march his oldest companions: Ka Ryo Ten, his shrewd strategist and voice of reason, and Kyou Kai, his silent lieutenant and blade in the dark.  Together they ride to war beneath the Storm Dragon’s banner. The thunder of their advance shakes the heavens, for Grand Cathay remembers its lost sons, and the north will burn once more. === Waihi GT - Submitted [1999 pts] Warhammer: The Old World, Grand Cathay, Jade Fleet, Grand Melee + Combined Arms === ++ Characters [859 pts] ++ Miao Ying [485 pts] - Talons of the Storm - Dragon fire (Dragon Form) - Heavy armour - Full plate armour (Dragon Form) - Level 4 Wizard (Human Form) - Level 2 Wizard (Dragon Form) - General - Battle Magic (Ri Shin) - Shugengan Lord [324 pts] - Hand weapon - Iron talons - Heavy armour - Wizard [Level 2 Wizard] - Lore of Yin - Great Spirit Longma - Scrolls Of Wei-jin - Learned Feng Shi Bo - The Monkey King's Wisdom - Illusion (Ka Ryo Ten) - Strategist [50 pts] - Hand weapon - Light armour - Dragon fire bombs - On foot ++ Core Units [517 pts] ++ 18 Jade Warriors [220 pts] - Hand weapons - Shields - Heavy armour - Celestial Dragon Guard - Jade Officer (champion) - Standard bearer [The Jade Banner] - Musician 5 Jade Lancers [166 pts] - Hand weapons - Cathayan lances - Shields - Heavy armour - Barding - Ambushers - Celestial Dragon Guard - (Kyou Kai) Jade Lancer Officer (champion) [The Fires Of Nan-Gau + Ring Of Jet] 5 Jade Lancers [131 pts] - Hand weapons - Cathayan lances - Shields - Heavy armour - Barding - Ambushers - Jade Lancer Officer (champion) [The Fires Of Nan-Gau] ++ Special Units [173 pts] ++ Cathayan Grand Cannon [173 pts] - Grand cannon - Hand weapons - Light armour - Ogre Loader [Gunpowder bombs] ++ Rare Units [450 pts] ++ Sky Lantern [185 pts] - Iron hail guns - Dragon fire bombs - 4+ - Sky Lantern bombs - Ambushers Cathayan Sentinel [265 pts] - Hand weapons - Great blade - Heavy armour (Terracotta armour) - Granite Sentinel --- Created with "Old World Builder" [https://old-world-builder.com]
