WORSHIP? WAR! WAAAAGH!!
Orcs and Goblins are a race of warmongering looneys. They fanatically worship their deities Gork and Mork two cunning and fighting gods of war. The one brutal but cunning, the other cunning but brutal. Shamans build small effigies. Tribes build crude statues. Ever wondered what your entire Waaagh can come up with? This time we bring our idols to war. At the start of the tournament you will be assigned to one of the two factions: Da Waaaaagh of Mork or Da Waaaaagh of Gork. In three scenario’s your idol attracts followers, clashes with more than one other idol and at last shows who’s boss!
Rules
DA BORIN' STUFF
Assemble a 1.500 point horde from the Orc & Goblin Tribes Army List (forces of evil: the Ravening Hordes). Arcane Journal Orc & Goblin Tribes Army Lists are allowed. All units and characters cannot exceed 200 points. If you bring a wizard to the tournament he is considered Da Prophet of your army. If you don’t bring a wizard then your general is Da Prophet. Your army is divided into six segments. Your WAAAAGH!: 500 points that includes your General and Da Prophet (if they are separate models). The rest of your army is divided into 5 parts (or Mobs) of max. 200 points. Your Mobs can contain more than one unit entry. Everything combined together adds up into a legal 1.500 point army list.
You will get an Idol-of-Gork-or-possibly Mork-crafting-kit upon registration Nothin’ fancy, just 5 blanc wooden dice (Waaaagh-Power!™ dice), a poker chip (Army marker), and a 60x100mm base. Home-work: build an Idol of Gork or possibly Mork and paint your army logo on the poker chip. This chip is mainly for shits and giggles, well use ‘em to randomly draw your first opponent at the start of the tournament.
Upon arriving you get three gold teeth and seven normal teeth. The player with the most teeth at the end of the tournament wins.
DA IDOL
An Idol is imbued with energy from the great Green. It fights as a normal unit and buffs units around it through the power of the Waaaagh! Its movement and its buffs are determined by rolling Waaaagh-Power!™ dice. You get to paint your own symbols on the sides of your dice. All dice must be the same. Each side must have a different symbol. One side must have an angry face symbol. This symbol means that all units within the idols command range replace impetuous for Animosity. Animosity is Frenzy without the extra attack.
Choose for the other five sides from these symbols:
- A heart: all units within the Idols command range gains +1 Ld.
- A lightning bolt: your units within the Idols command range gain +1 Initiative.
- A shield: your units within the Idols command range get +1 armour to a maximum of 4+.
- An axe: all units within the Idols command range gain +1 attack.
- A red dot: all units within the Idols command range gain Frenzy.
- A fist: the Idol gains D3 extra attacks.
- A green dot: the Idol gains a shooting attack: range 24”, D3 S4 hits AP-1.
- A green X: the Idol grands another fated dispel.
- *D6: the Idol adds +D6 to its Random Movement (cumulative with D3).
- *D3: the Idol adds +D3 to its Random Movement (cumulative with D6).
- A BOOM!: with three, four or five the same BOOM! symbols: All units within the Idols command range get respectively D6 S4, S5, S6 hits Ap1. (one or two explosion symbols do nothing.
At the start of your turn you roll your 5 Waaagh-Power! dice.
The idol will always gain 2 powers from the symbols that were rolled.
The Idol gains the symbol that shows up the most after a roll. For example If you roll 3, 4 or 5 angry faces, the idol chooses the angry face symbol (a.k.a. gives Animosity to all units within 6”). Place a dice with the angry face next to the Idol indicating that he ‘buffs’ all units with animosity.
After the choice of the Idol, you can pick any remaining symbol from the symbols that you rolled. There are some oddities to explain:
In case you rolled a double symbol, another double symbol and a single symbol. You choose for the Idol from the two doubles and afterwards choose for yourself from the remaining three symbols.
In case of five different symbols you pick two times from these symbols.
In case of five the same symbols. The Idol chooses this symbol and you can choose freely between the symbols that are shown on the other sides of the dice.
After you have picked a symbol place a dice next to the idol.
SCENARIO'S
Round one: Join os! Join os!
Deployment: open battle
A Warhammer table can be divided into four quarters by a long centre line (from left to right) and a short centre line (front to back). Place both Idols back to back against the long centre line. Their flank touches the short centre line. Place your idol on your half of the table facing your deployment zone.
Place all Mobs outside both deployment zones in the middle of the table. Sort them in neat groups so it is clear which models belong to which Mob. Then roll off who deploys first and deploy your WAAAAGH! as normal (a.k.a. war machines in one go and characters last).
Then (drumroll please!), starting with the player who deployed first, the players pick a Mob, choosing from the pool of remaining units without regard of who brought the models to the table (in other words you can choose the units from the opposing player as well), and immediately deploy it. In case of characters not belonging to a players’ WAAAAGH! they can be picked as well and can be placed inside a unit that was already deployed. Both players should end up with their own WAAAAGH! and 5 chosen Mobs. Then normal play commences; Vanguards, Scouts and the Roll of who goes first.
This round the Idols are (moving) Impassable Terrain Features. The Idols cannot move in a quarter that another Idol is currently in.

Round two: Da Clash of Cults
Deployment: 3 way battle (a tripod production realisation)
What is this? Three armies on one table? What could possibly go wrong rules wise!
For this scenario you get a transparent A3 sheet which functions as your deployment zone.Roll a dice. Highest roller chooses a deployment zone and places his Idol fully within. Then clockwise the second player chooses and places his Idol, and finally the third player.
The Idols mark each players deployment zone. Then in turn order everybody deploys their WAAAAGH!, and after that each player chooses and deploys two of his five Mobs.
After all armies are deployed you simply roll off who gets to go first. The highest roller becomes the first player. Everybody takes turns in clockwise order.
Magic cannot be dispelled by a player if the spell (a hex or a magic missile) is targeted directly at another player.
This game only lasts four rounds.
All eyes on me!!
This is a three-way-battle but there is no such thing as a three way combat. If the third player charges into a combat simply shove the units from the player that isn’t charged 1” out of the combat. Only the player whose turn it is and his target fight a round of combat as normal. The loser takes a break test and moves accordingly.
The Idol can be harmed this round and has the following profile:
