Warhammer: The Old World – Slow Grow League Launch Event, April 26, 2026 9:30AM registration

It’s about learning the game, meeting the amazing ToW community, and rack up some League points:

Join new and seasoned players on the launch event for the Slow Grow League. This is a 500pt event, but you may optionally bring a 2000pt list to play larger games by mutual agreement. In each round you can play a 2K game if you and your opponent agree.

Don’t worry about being new, this is a friendly event. Players are encouraged to ask questions and seasoned players are encouraged to run games with newcomers as tutorials. The NY area has some of the best ToW players in the country who are also great community builders and love to teach the game.

Players who bring 2000pts will also be scored for an RTT.

What to bring:

Army: 500 points (or one 500pts and one optional 2000pts if you would like to participate as an RTT format as well). Painted is nice but this is a slow grow so let’s just get playing and learning rules.

Printed or written down list/s: We suggest using a list building tool which will apply any and all checks like New Recruit (link: https://www.newrecruit.eu/ ) which is free to build lists.

Playing tools: dice, measuring tape, templates (round 5” and 3”, Flame. Printable templates available)
