For its 2025 edition, the Belgian Masters XXXL is moving back to its roots, in the beautiful town of Leopoldsburg. For those who were there to see said roots don't be alarmed/overexcited <choose appropriate term>, we didn't go back to that cabin in the woods feeling, but instead, we got the largest hall in town that isn't a sports hall. We're located in the school, right across the street from the train station.
Come join us on Friday 7*, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9th of March for unlimited gaming fun across no less than three gaming systems (Warmachine, Marvel Crisis Protocol and The Old World).
Sample the cooking and a selection of fine Belgian beers at the venue, or take a stroll into town. There's 3 frietkoten and a Gault Millau-level restaurant - plus everything in between - all at less than 10 minutes walk (or a 15 minute stumble, tops). As an old garrison town, Leopoldsburg can easily compete with any tourist trap in terms of hospitality establishment per capita - sans the tourists, of course.
Should you be looking to do anything beside gaming and eating, then Leopoldsburg has more to offer. The town is mostly known for its military history. Highlights being the Liberation Garden museum (mainly focusing on WWII Operation Market Garden) and the Leopoldsburg War Cemetery, all still within walking distance of the venue, obviously. Should this walking be something you're after, then the town's lush forests will certainly be pleasing - let us know if you managed to locate the first editions' cabin in the woods.
So, bring your best wardollies and better banter, and come compete for the Innuendo Cup!
Entry fee= €45 per Person, including swag, free tab water throughout the event & Lunch on Saturday & Sunday (dinner on Saturday is available for an additional €10), as well as a shot at the honour of becomming the first Ever Belgian Master for the Old world (Elusive Challenge Cup included!)
If you want, you can only join the festivities on Saturday, playing three games and dropping out (for €25 per person, including swag, free tap water & lunch (dinner on Saturday is available for an additional €10) , you'll loose out on a shot for that Elusive cup though!)
Keep an eye out on this page for updates!
