ABOUT THE EVENT
Treats and Traitors is a casual singles event focused on fun, thematic play rather than pure competition. Across three games your army composition never sits still — a unit you muster may end up fighting against you, and a free character gifted by the Arcane Forge shop will stand at your side for two of your three battles. List-building restrictions keep the most hyper-competitive builds out of contention.
Thematic armies are encouraged. Have fun, be kind, and play the rules as intended.
FORMAT
- 1,500pts core army (Grand Army, Army of Infamy, or Legacy)
- + a Traitor Unit: one additional core unit, ~200pts, no magic items, from the same faction — added after your legal 1,500pts list. Fights for you in Game 1, then swaps to your opponent's side for Games 2 and 3 (and vice versa)
- + a Treat Character: a free gifted miniature (~150pts) drawn at check-in, usable in 2 of your 3 games. Yours to keep after the event.
- 3 rounds, random pairings (Swiss Draw)
- No allies, no special characters, no mercenaries in your core list
- Renegades by Square Based allowed (rules update cut-off: 1 September 2026)
- Max 2 of the same Character entry · Max 1 of the same Rare choice · Max 4 Wizard Levels total · no single character/ unit over 25% of total points (375pts max) · Max 1 Sky Lanterns, max 2 Fanatics per unit
- Painting standard: 3-colour minimum with painted base, presentable movement trays, proxies clearly identifiable

19:00 – 19:15 Results / Sportsmanship voting
19:15 – 19:30 Award ceremony
19:30 onward Optional bites and drinks

🎨 Best Painted Army — €15 store credit (voted by players during lunch)
